Emophoria (meaning)
by Greg OchabA critique on emo, scene and trend cultures specifically, but also on society in general.
I don't know how many times I have heard kids say, "I am an original person."
The thought that comes to my head is always, "How can you be original if everybody says that? If everybody else feels that way?"
The ridiculous part is that all these kids are exactly alike. I mean, God created us as individuals, but kids who make this claim seem to just be a part of a fad. A fad should be clothing, not beliefs. Yet that is what we let ourselves be: we base who we are on a fad, and after awhile we all just all start to look the same.
