As of April 6th 2008, we are pleased to announce the release of our debut EP, “Dressed to Kill”!

Introduction (by Greg)

Life seems to have themes. Looking back at what motivated me to write each of these songs, I can see a common theme that I didn’t even know existed during the actual writing process.

The songs on “Dressed to Kill” were all written in a 6 month period in 2007, a time where I was really struggling with what my personal beliefs were. I was asking questions; should I believe the ideas I was taught growing up? Some of those ideas didn’t work so well in the real world, and the result was havoc in my life.

I was looking for one thing: the truth. It’s a lifelong quest, but there are core truths. I had always believed that you could never be certain of things, but I discovered that this is not truly the case. You may have heard said that, “saying there is no absolute truth is claiming an absolute truth in itself,” and that statement in itself proves something.

Dressed to Kill is about different aspects of the truth. You’ll have to look at the individual song meanings for a more complete picture, and this picture is by no means able to cover more than a fraction of the ideas I had during this time. But I think that a very key idea that I came out of that time with is that we cannot force people to believe what we believe, no matter how right we believe we are. All we can do is show them the truth, and let them choose.

Once we know the truth, we can be armed and ready. Or as I like to say: “Dressed to Kill.”
